Discipline

Data Analytics is a multidisciplinary branch which consists of computer science, statistics and business concepts. It is mainly used for data driven decision making which can impact the outcome of large organization. It consists of various topics ranging from predictive analytics ,optimization and visualization techniques. Data analytics is an emerging field and has opportunities in various fields ranging from healthcare sector, marketing and retail sector.

 

Academic goals

The field of data analytics has immense opportunities and immensely flourishing in all the sectors.My aim is to work as a data scientist in an industry which will help me in analyzing the various types of data in that domain. Also I was fascinated that using large amount of data we could obtain meaningful information which will help in improving the performance of the organization.

Plan of Study

I have learned python programming, R programming and statistical concepts. I am currently learning texting mining concepts in the AIT 690 course.
