I have learned the practical implementation of data analytics concepts .The assignments included performing SQL operations on a complex dataset, the dataset used here is employee attrition. I have also learned and performed mongoDB operations on a complex datatset. Along with this, one of the challenging assignments which I have done, involved python coding and web scrapping using R programming for the employee attrition dataset given by the professor. I successfully completed this project and this has given me confidence that I can perform very well in my upcoming semesters ,since most of the subjects I am planning to take either use python or R programming language.

AIT 690

This course mainly covers concepts like Lexical, syntactic, and semantic elements of language, Statistical properties of language, Rule-based and data-driven approaches to building language models, Machine learning for understanding language, Application of NLP to real-world problems such as de-identification and question answering. It will focus on studies of textual data using rule-based and statistical methods. The goal of this course will be to create computer programs that analyze, interpret, and even generate human language.

OR 568

This course has taught me to analyze large volumes of data using R programming. The licensed software which we used in this course is R Studio which involved assigning different constraints to get the optimal solution for the model. I have shown one of the OR 568 assignment. This assignment involves working on predicting Airfares on new routes and analyzing the output. Along with this, I had to generate the simulation analysis report wherein I would get the accurate result. This was a challenging project and I applied all the constraints and was able to answer the tough questions posed by the professor in the assignment.

CS 504

This course has helped me in learning the concepts of data mining and management. I have learned SQL and machine learning based concepts. I have also learned Entity Relationship model and Enhanced Entity Relationship diagrams in this course which has helped me to gain thorough knowledge about this domain. One of the assignments included writing the SQL commands to perform certain functions using a specific database, which had been provided for either Oracle or MySQL. To load the data into the system, I had to use sqlplus (oracle).
